Walter Trapp, Sr., 94, of Terryville, passed away peacefully Saturday (January 13, 2018) surrounded by his loving family. After 31 years apart Walter and his beloved wife Rose have been reunited.
Walter was born October 14, 1923 in New York to the late George and Harriet Trapp. Walter served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. After the military he moved from New York to Connecticut in 1955 where he and Rose built their life together. Walter worked at Accurate Forging and Bristol Hospital for many years.
Walter is survived by a son: Walter Jr., and his wife Claire and their family; and his daughter: Adeline Paskowski and her husband Richard. He is also survived by grandchildren: Amanda Paskowski, Richard Paskowski and his girlfriend Nicole Kende. Walter’s grandchildren lovingly called him ‘Be-Be.’
In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife Rose of 35 years, an identical twin brother: George; and sister-in-law: Edith.
Walter’s family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to all who were involved in the compassionate care during his final weeks of life.
