Condolences to an old neighbor's family from Lille. May she rest in peace. She earned it with all the hard work that she did especially making "papina" jam for many years.

Dear family. I didn't realize Mme. Grievous lived to such a ripe age. She was a wonderful lady when I knew her "up north." When we lived on the farm I had her show me how to clean a pig's intestines to save the casing for boudin. She was always willing to help and always had a sunny disposition. Funny I thought of her just last week. I hope you don't mind my reminiscing but I have fond memories of this wonderful lady. May she rest in peace and may you be comforted in our faith that she is now with the Lord. God bless. Claudette (Lavertu) Michaud

Mabel married my Grandfather when I was 16 years old. 32 years ago. Right from the beginning she made me feel loved. She told me she had enough love in her heart for everyone. That I know was true! I remember she once told me when I was visiting her after her surgery not to cry if she died. She said she thought that God forgot about her down here. She said she lived long enough. Not to be sad but have a party. So I will try to honor her wishes best I can.

I believe that she lived so long because God knew that we needed more people like her on earth. People who showed everyone love and respect. She believed in God and I know that she is with him and Grandpa now. I will miss your smiling face Mabel Until we meet again.
Love you!
