Dennis H. Borovy

Dennis H. Borovy Jr. 53, of Bristol, son of Carol Buice and the late Dennis Borovy Sr. passed away after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Dennis was born November 11, 1963 in Torrington, CT. He attended St. Peter’s School and graduated from Torrington High School in 1982.

Dennis is survived by his three children, Matthew, Eric and Ryan of Burlington whom he loved and adored unconditionally. He leaves behind a brother, Henry Borovy of Torrington, two sisters, Dawn Lascari and her husband Al of New Hartford, Denise McCarthy and her husband, Steve of Andover, two nieces and three nephews.

Dennis will be sadly missed by his family and by all who knew and loved him. He was an avid fan of both the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Rams. Dennis had a love of music, photography and nature. However, his true passion was listening to his boys latest accomplishments and cheering them on at their sporting events. Dennis was extremely proud of each of his three boys and whenever he spoke about them it was always with extreme joy and happiness. The family would like to sincerely thank Ernie Szydio for the assistance, the compassion and most of all the friendship he gave to Dennis throughout his struggle with MS.

Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Saturday (February 25, 2017) between 12 and 1 PM with a funeral service following the visitation starting at 1 PM Burial will be in the spring in New St. Joseph Cemetery, Winsted.
