Verna (Gagne) Caron, 92, of Bristol, wife of the late Laurent Caron, died on Sunday (January 19, 2020) at Bristol Hospital. Verna was born on April 24, 1927 in Fort Kent, Maine to the late Henry and Hattie (King) Gagne. Verna was known to always have on full makeup, hair and nails and enjoyed gardening, flowers, embroidering, and cooking for her family. She loved going on trips with her husband and family and enjoyed spending time with her sisters (Golden Girls), whether it be going to lunch or shopping together. She also loved spending time with her brother, Leon, and her niece, Sharon. Verna is survived by her son: Ralph Vilardi and his wife Debbie of Burlington; her daughter: Donna Page and her husband Mario of Bristol; her two brothers: Leon Gagne of California, Camille Gagne and his wife Pauline of Bristol; her sister: Stella Levesque of Farmington; her three grandchildren: Kristin, Melissa and Alison; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Verna is predeceased brother: Sylvio Gagne; and her six sisters: Leone Pelletier, Emelda Martin, Irene Belanger, Leola Levesque, Celina Winski, Lena Tardiff. A prayer service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the service on Thursday between the hours of 5 PM and 7 PM.
