Starlett D. Harrington, 70, of Bristol, died on Thursday (January 13, 2022) at The Pines in Bristol after fighting a brave courageous battle. She was surrounded by her family who will continue to honor her legacy through her strength, determination and perseverance during the most difficult of times. She was born on December 26, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (Vincent) Harrington.
Starlett was a loving parent and devoted grandparent who always put everyone else first. When she wasn’t spending time with her family, she enjoyed doing puzzles, word searches, painting and watching hours of Lifetime movies with her daughter. The simplest pleasures in life brought her the most joy. She was also an avid sports fan and loved watching the Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox.
Starlett is survived by her partner of over 25 years, Jim Oliver; daughter: Michelle Aldi and husband, Bert, all of Bristol; sister: Cynthia Lebel; three grandchildren: Jacob Aldi, Alexa Aldi, and Alyssa Marin; niece: Cherie Dobreski; as well as her beloved cat, Pooh. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son: Mark Marin; and her sister: Sandra Harrington.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (January 21, 2022) at 11:30 AM at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Funk Funeral Home on Thursday (January 20, 2022) between 5 and 7 PM.
