Sofija Plaku

Sofija (Palloj) Plaku, 78, wife of the late Sotir Plaku, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Bristol Hospital. Sofija was born on August 20, 1941 in Albania and was the daughter of the late Irakli and Uli Palloj.

Sofija is survived by her four children: Thomaidha Gjika and her husband Aristidh of Bristol, Andrea Plaku of Greece, Aleko Plaku and his wife Margarita of Bristol, Ilia Plaku of Greece; her two brothers: Ilija Palloj and his wife Rozeta of New York, Petraq Palloj and his wife Natasha of Albania; her two sisters: Margartia Shkurti of Albania, Irini Borshi and her husband Niqifor of Albania; her eight grandchildren; her one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private. Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, CT is honored to serve the Plaku family.
