In Loving Memory of Shirley P. Anderson.


Shirley is survived by her grade school sweetheart husband of 64 years, David J. Anderson, Sr., her son David Anderson Jr. and his wife Patti and daughter Tracey Anderson and goddaughter Lee Ann and her husband Anthony Cheng.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Anna Pileski, siblings Edward Joseph Pileski Jr., Irene D’Aversa, Jean Nowak and John Pileski. A lifetime resident of Bristol and a people person, she retired from the Bank of Boston in 2014 after 39 years in the banking industry always greeting her customers with a warm, welcoming smile. An avid Boston Red Sox fan her favorite player of all time was Carl Yastrzemski. She enjoyed her mother-daughter excursions to Mohegan Sun and her yearly Wedding Anniversary Celebration trips to Lenny and Joes in Westbrook. Shirley loved to travel to New York and to Disney World, the happiest place in the world. But most of all she loved her family gatherings with her children and grandchildren, David and Kerri Anderson III, Holly Chrystal Anderson, Brett and Jess Anderson, Amanda and Anthony Julius, Leandra, Brianna and Aaron Cheng. Her littlest rays of sunshine were her Great Grandchildren, Dylan Anderson and baby girl Anderson soon to come in March 2022, Mila Wren Trudel, Adella and Dash Anderson, Henry and George Julius and Bennett C. Trang. Shirley lived a fulfilling life as a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. (GG) On Angel’s Wings you were taken and in God’s light you’ll rest.

Funeral and Burial Services will be private for immediate family per Shirley’s wishes.
