Sharon L. Albert

Sharon Albert, 78, of Bristol, CT passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021 with her family by her side. Sharon was born in Milo, Maine and the family moved to Terryville, Ct where she went to school. She was the daughter of the late Linwood and Jane Kelley. Professionally she worked in the insurance business as a commercial lines agent. She was also past President of the Terryville Ladies Society, a nursery school teacher, and President of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality.

Sharon leaves behind her husband and best friend, Roger Albert; her son Kevin Albert and his three children, Phillip, Taylor and Samantha Albert of Greensboro, NC; her daughter, Paula Lemon and her two children Michael and Alanah Canter of Henderson Kentucky, and daughter Jennifer Caron and her husband Raymond and children Emily and Ryan Donovan of Epping, NH, and six great grandchildren Gavin, Sierra, Zamya, Aiden, Malcolm and Zayden. Sharon is also survived by her sister Karen Braydon and her husband Warren and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon enjoyed her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed family gatherings during the holidays. When she was not busy with the children, she worked tirelessly in her many flower gardens. She was an avid quilter and loved sewing. The visiting hours will be Friday, April 30th, from 4 to 6 PM at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Avenue, Bristol who has the honor of serving Sharon’s family. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Francis de Sales Parish at St. Ann Church, 215 West Street, Bristol on Saturday morning, May 1st at 10:30 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bristol.
