Shane E. Herold

Shane E. Herold, 38, of Bristol, adoring husband of Jennifer (Brule) Herold, died on Monday (October 21, 2019) at his home. Shane was born on July 13, 1981 in Bristol and was a son of the late Harry and Joanne (Yudysky) Herold.

Shane was a devoted husband and loving father. He had the best sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. His heart was so big and genuine and he loved his family with all of it. If there was ever a problem for us, he wanted to fix it. He always put his family first. Shane shared with his wife, Jennifer, a deep passion for music, movies and anything that grows. Listening to him play guitar is one of her favorite things. He loved his profession as an accountant and took their business very seriously. He was an avid reader and always had a thirst for knowledge. He was so handsome and can out dress the best of them. He would choose a cozy night at home watching a good movie with his family over anything. He is so loved and so missed. He always would say that Jennifer was his lighthouse, that her light guides him home. You’re Jennifer’s light now. God decided to take him home. Though his body has passed, his beautiful spirit will live on through all of us who love him. 


In addition to his wife, Shane is survived by his daughter Riley Herold of Terryville, his sister Courtney of California, his mother in law, Denise Brule of Bristol, his sister and brother in law, Susan Brule and Chad Trzcinski of Bristol and his three nieces and one nephew, Lacey, Chloe, Lily, Aubrey and Dalton. 

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday (October 25, 2019) at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol between 9 AM and 11 AM. Burial will follow at Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol.
