Russell W. Reklaitis, 70, of Burlington, beloved husband of Nancy (Kusiak) Reklaitis, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Russell was born on February 15, 1948 in Bristol and was the son of the late William and Angelina (Felice) Reklaitis. Russell was raised in Bristol and graduated from Bristol Central High School. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam. He later moved to Burlington and was a union carpenter and worked for Arthur Industries, Bristol Brass, and Theis. He was an avid Yankee fan and loved his family deeply. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed terribly. In addition to his wife Nancy of 45 years, Russell is survived by his son: Jason Reklaitis and his girlfriend Jen Dragon; his two daughters: Ashley Carlson and her husband Erik, Jessica Leonard and her husband Greg; his brother: Richard Reklaitis; his two sisters: Rosalind Stafford and her husband David, Marilyn Reklaitis; three grandchildren with one on the way: Eagen and Logan Leonard, Adaline Carlson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 9 AM from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Gregory Church, 235 Maltby Street, Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home on Wednesday January 30, 2019 between 5 and 7 PM.
