Rita (Camire) Mastrobattista, 84, of Bristol, died on Monday (November 28, 2022) at The Pines at Bristol. Rita was born in Bristol on May 30, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Oscar and Bernadette Camire.
A lifelong Bristol resident, she graduated from Bristol High School. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish, devoted to St. Ann Church, where she volunteered many hours at the Church and Parish Center. In doing so, she achieved the Saint Joseph Medal of Appreciation. She was also a member of the Ladies of St. Ann and served on the Parish Council and Finance Committee.
Rita leaves behind her daughter Lorry LeMaire and husband, Raymond; and her son, Brian Mastrobattista and wife, Lori. Mrs. Mastrobattista was known lovingly to all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren as “Nana,” Amanda Burch and her husband, Steve, Raymond LeMaire Jr. and his fiancé, Emily, Gregory LeMaire and partner, Charlie, Shauna Mastrobattista and her fiancé, Peter, and Stephanie Mastrobattista; also great-grandchildren Dan, Colton, and Jackson Burch and Peter Jr. and Nola Franolich. She also leaves her sister Doris Camire (Bob), her brother Michael Camire (Susan) and several nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Annette Malsheske and a brother, Raymond Camire.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (December 3, 2022) at 9:30 AM from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home on Friday between 4 and 7 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
