Richard A. Henderson

Richard (Dick) Andrew Henderson, 85, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, widower of Augusta (Rode) Henderson, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017.
Richard was a Korean War veteran serving in the United States Army and was a member of the KVA Unit #54-201 and employed by the Bristol Brass Corp. He retired in 1993 and in 1997, he moved to Calgary to be closer to his daughter, Heide, after the passing of his beloved wife, Gussie. Richard’s biggest passion was Ten Pin bowling, red wine and spaghetti and meatballs.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Heide MacAlister (Henderson).
Richard was predeceased by his loving wife and a brother, Howard (Bubz) Henderson.
Private graveside services with military honors were held in West Cemetery, Bristol.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Richard’s honor may be made directly to The Alzheimer's Association.
