I lit a candle below. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Leary Family. We've always felt like part of the family so this hit close to home. It's tough to say goodbye, yet joyful to think of him with "Fil" and his other family and friends in Heaven. I hope that time helps to heal the hearts and souls of his kids, grandchildren and loved ones. God Bless.

Mary Ellen, Joey, Ann Marie, Chris and Jon - our sincere condolences to each of you on your Dad's passing. I have many, many memories of our times on Fenn Street and again on Emily Lane. I will never forget the kindnesses extended to my sister Carol over the years - taking her to church, to the Cape, Cedar Lake and treating her as a family member.

We are saddened by the passing of our Uncle Phil. The last in the line of our Grandparents' 3 children: first, sweet Aunt Patty and then our dear mother, Ellen, now almost 20 years ago. Hard to believe. It points to our responsibility as the subsequent generations to carry on their legacy through acts of kindness, generosity and humility that were the defining qualities of each of their lives. We wish you strength and love as you now forge onward without your parents' living presence in your lives. Our hearts go out with sympathy to our Cousins.

Meg, Beth, Cathy, Sue and Pete, and all the Saunders family spouses and children including Great Niece Ellie, and Great Nephews David, Andrew and Sam

I served with Capt Phil in the Guard. He was a responsible officer and a fine man. We formed a group of company officers and convened socially 5 times/year for over 40 years. Aside from being a responsible officer, he was also fun loving and a totally social person. We wish him GODSPEED. Jean & Bob Moran

Phil had a special quiet way about him that warmed the hearts of everyone who knew him ~ the qualities that made him the wonderful person he was and we are all left with beautiful memories.

May your own precious memories be a comfort to all of you now and throughout the days to come.

With deepest sympathy,
