Patricia Dube

Patricia (Wininger) Dube, 86, of Bristol, beloved wife of the late George A. Dube passed away on June 17, 2022 at Bristol Hospital. Born in Bristol on December 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Russell E. and Katherine (Hoffman) Wininger and a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Bristol High School. She worked at Village Cabinet for 22 years as the Office Manager. She was an avid fan of both UConn Men and Women’s basketball teams. She also enjoyed reading and knitting Afghans for family and friends. Patricia is survived by her son Kurt Dube of Bristol; two sisters Georgia and Suzanne Wininger; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Bernidine Dube; brothers Russell and Jay; sisters Annabelle Fox, Eleanor Lasnier and Marjorie Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral home service at 11 AM in Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shepard Meadows Therapeutic Riding Center, P.O. Box 2826, Bristol, CT or to one’s choice.
