I knew Normand when he lived in Charlestown. He did some painting for me on a few occasions and I got to know him during this time. The last time I saw him he told me he was leaving Rhode Island and traveling across the country with some friends. I don't know if he ever did but I hope that if he did he had a wonderful time during the last few years of his life. He was a lovely man and I offer my condolences to his entire family. Janet Alden
