Monserrate Muñiz, de 90 años, de Bristol, murió el lunes (11 de mayo de 2020) en su casa. Nacida de Augusto Nieves y Marcela Muñiz en Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, el 22 de septiembre de 1929, se mudó a Bristol en 1997. Monserrate amaba los animales, especialmente los pollos. Era conocida por su pasión por cocinar y hacer postres. En su tiempo libre disfrutaba viendo telenovelas y jardinería. Ella era feligrés de la Séptima Estrella Cristiana de la Iglesia Pentecostal Jacob en Bristol.
Le sobrevive un hijo: Carlos Caraballo; hijas: Illeana Muñiz y Lourdes Caraballo; nietos: Cristal, Carla y John Caraballo y Lorianna Figueroa y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos. Ella está fallecida por sus hermanos: Julio y Americo Muñiz; y hermanas: Margarita, Ramona y Doris Nieves.

Monserrate Muñiz, 90, of Bristol, died on Monday (May 11, 2020) at home. Born to the late Augusto Nieves and Marcela Muñiz in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, on September 22, 1929, she moved to Bristol in 1997. Monserrate loved animals, especially chickens. She was known for her passion for cooking and making desserts. In her free time she enjoyed watching telenovelas and gardening. She was a parishioner of The Seventh Christian Star of Jacob Pentecostal Church in Bristol.
She is survived by a son: Carolos Caraballo; daughters: Illeana Muñiz and Lourdes Caraballo; grandchildren: Cristal, Carla and John Caraballo and Lorianna Figueroa and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers: Julio and Americo Muñiz; and sisters: Margarita, Ramona and Doris Nieves.
