Margaret Orzell

Margaret C. (Radaskiewicz) Orzell, 89, of Bristol, widow of John S. Orzell, passed away on Friday September 16, 2022 at Bristol Hospital. Margaret was born in Bristol on August 31, 1933 and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Yaross) Radaskiewicz. A lifelong Bristol resident she worked at several businesses in the area as a secretary before retiring. She was an avid fan of the Red Sox and UConn Women’s Basketball. She loved puzzles, bowling and Polka dancing. She was a former member of the choir at St. Stanislaus Church. She is survived by two sons: John Orzell and wife Beth of Hebron and Joseph Orzell of Bristol; daughter Maggie Roy and husband Tim of Bristol; five grandchildren; three step-granddaughters; two great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Radaskiewicz and a sister, Marie Downs.
The visiting hour will be this Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Avenue, Bristol.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM in St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St., Bristol.
