Lucy A. Krueger, 75, of Bristol, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Jerome Home in New Britain. Lucy was born in Bristol on November 13, 1947, and was a daughter of the late Edmund and Anna (Sinisgalli) Krueger. Lucy was a good student and graduated from Bristol Central High School in 1965. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Central Connecticut State University in 1969 and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Education from Central Connecticut State University. She taught second grade in the Bristol Public School system for 35 years at which 34 of them were at Bingham Elementary. Lucy enjoyed doing needlepoint, gardening, cooking and especially baking her famous cookies. She was a former member of the St. Anthony Rosary Society and volunteered at the Bristol Historical Society. She is survived by her sister Nancy Krueger of Bristol; two Connecticut cousins: Lisa Erol and Carlen Sinisgalli both of Bristol and many other cousins around the country. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Anthony Church, The Parish of St. Francis de Sales Parish at 111 School Street, Bristol, on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10 AM to attend a Mass of Christian Burial and are invited to attend the committal service immediately following in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
