Lourdes (Cyr) Albert, 95 of Bristol, widow of Alban Albert, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her home. Lourdes was born in St. Francois, NB, Canada on December 28, 1925 and was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Sadie (Damais) Cyr. She was a longtime Bristol resident a member of the Ladies of St. Ann Society and a member of St. Gregory Church, Bristol. Mrs. Albert is survived by three daughters; Charlene and husband David Harris of Bristol, Betty Albert of Southington and Malinda and husband Thomas McDonnell of Bristol; two sisters Marina Sutherland of Portland, CT and Bernice Charette of Ft. Kent, ME; six grandchildren nine great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her two brothers O’Neil and Albe Cyr; two sisters Helida Grandmaison and Jacqueline Landry. The visiting hour will be Wednesday morning, June 2nd from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, who has the honor of serving Lourdes’s family. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Gregory Church, Bristol at 11 AM. Entombment to follow in the Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
