Louis E. Pelletier

Louis E. Pelletier, 72, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on (Wednesday) October 20, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. He was the loving husband of David Gonzalez who shared 31 wonderful years together.

Louis was born on February 15, 1949 in Saint-François, New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Leona (Bard) and Belonie Pelletier. He was a long time parishioner of St. Ann Church in Bristol. Louis loved building birdhouses, cooking, and traveling, especially to Maine.

In addition to his husband and best friend David, Louis leaves behind his daughter Vicky Pelletier of Bristol; his step-son Tommy Pelletier of Bristol; his brothers Rejean Pelletier of Southington, and Gil Pelletier and his wife Ghislaine of Canada; his sisters Sue Pratte and her husband Guy of Bristol, Fran Lawrence and her husband Chip of New Britain & Myrtle Beach, and Nicole Ouellette and her husband Jacque of East Hartford; his grandchildren Jordan Pelletier, Jasmyne Rivera, and Kayla Pelletier; his sister-in-law Marie Pelletier; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, his son Jimmy Pelletier, and his brother Ben Pelletier.

Louis’ family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital for their wonderful care of him.

Calling hours will be held from 4 – 8pm on (Friday) November 5, 2021 at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, who has the honor of serving Louis’ family. A celebration of Louis’ life will be held on (Saturday) November 6, 2021 at noon, at the Bristol Polish American Citizens Club, 541 North Main St., Bristol.
