So sorry for your loss--Lori was a great lady. Often, I would run into her at Starbucks and she would update me on the family. Kelley and Peter, she was so proud of you both. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

One of the great ones, she will be greatly missed! I worked with her at All State and she never failed to have a smile and a warm greeting no matter how busy she was. She always made the place a brighter, better place. Even after I left if I called in for any reason she made my day with her greeting over the phone. The world is a lesser place with out her in it! I wish her family the best and you will be in my thoughts.

The void created by the loss of someone as beloved as Lori, is still very hard for all of us to grasp. Let us remember all of the good times and laughs we shared, and how she was always there for all of us, no matter what the circumstance. Whether moving Grandfather Clocks, counting money at the St. Anthony Italian Festival, planning trips to London and Italy, or organizing "Forced Family Functions", she always gave 150%. With granola bars in hand, other snacks, small bottles of water and Tic Tacs in her bag, she took nothing for granted and was always well prepared. Although she was small in stature, her heart was larger than most. For everyone who reads my posting, please remember this: Love the people that God gave to us while you have the chance, because he will want them back one day. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Happy Birthday Lars! Travel Light! Rest in peace!

Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am a first cousin of Sylvia D'Aprile. Judy DiVenere and I are named after Guiditta Montella, my aunt. I taught Lori at SPCHS (mid 70s). One day in class she asked me if I was a Russo from Waterbury and when I said yes, she responded that Sylvia is her grandmother ... we were related. How wonderful to be reacquainted with family.
My sincere sympathy and remembrance in prayer. I will be singing in the Resurrection Choir at St. Anthony's and I am happy to do so.
With love, Cousin Judy

I loved Lori with all my heart - I will remember her as a loving and gentle and beautiful Woman who was so thoughtful and very kind - we shared some memories together on our dinners with all the cousins who loved her! WE had a special time together in VT and I will keep that in my heart and I am grateful for that time! She is at rest now and I will be praying to her because she is an Angel! So very sorry for this terrible loss! Love Susan
