Lauraine Lausier

Lauraine Lausier, 92, of Wolcott, died on Monday (February 25, 2019).  Lauraine was born on August 29, 1926 in Bristol and was one of seven children of the late George and Catherine (Raymond) Lausier. She was raised in Bristol where she graduated from Bristol High School. A Wolcott resident since 1964, she worked for the former E. Ingraham Co. and Gems Sensors before retiring. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish attending St. Ann Church where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann Society. She was a Girl Scout and Bristol Chamber of Commerce volunteer and was an avid walker into her 90’s. Survived by 14 nieces and nephews, she was predeceased by her siblings: Berthe Vallee, Rolande Wright, LuluMay Wright, Fernande Raboin, Claude Lausier, and Paulle Tyndall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (March 2, 2019) at 11 AM at The Parish of St. Francis de Sales at St. Ann Church, 215 West St, Bristol. Burial be at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.  Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, on Saturday between 9:30 and 10:30 AM.
