Joseph John-Paul LeFebvre, 83, of Bristol, widower of Lana (Fox) LeFebvre, died on Monday (May 31, 2021) at LiveWell in Plantsville.
John-Paul was born on January 26, 1938 in Bristol and was a son of the late Maurice and Jeanne (Cote) LeFebvre. He was raised in Bristol graduating from Bristol High School where he played basketball. He enlisted to serve in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a Corporal in 1962. He lived in Coventry for several years with Lana where he enjoyed cabinet making. He served as a corrections officer for the State of Connecticut at the Hartford Correctional Center until retiring and returned to Bristol in 2012.
He leaves a sister, Louise Doucette of Bristol, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Andre LeFebvre and a sister, Madeleine LeFebvre.
A committal service and military honors will be celebrated on Friday (June 4, 2021) at 1 PM in the chapel of the Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave., Bristol.
