John J. Caron

John J. Caron, 52, of Terryville, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday (December 29, 2020). John was born in Bristol on September 27, 1968 where he lived until moving to Terryville with his wife. John attended Bristol Central High School. He was the owner of J C Carpentry and employed by New England Carpenters Local. John was an avid fisherman which he enjoyed with his son and nephew. John is survived by his 14-year-old son Zachary J Caron. Besides his son, John leaves behind his brother Michael Caron (Sue-Ellen) of Bristol, his sister Pauline M Caron of Hartford, CT, step-brothers James LaRocque (Raeann) and Frederick (Chip) LaRocque Jr (Donna), step-sister Peggy Hoyt (David), several aunts, uncles, cousins and very special nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his wife of 27 years Heidi (Dube) Caron, his parents Victoria (Goodine) LaRocque and Alexander Caron, his stepfather Frederick LaRocque Sr., step-sister Tammy Durkee and most recently his brother Fernand V. Caron. John was a friend of Bill W and leaves behind many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial for the family will be celebrated on Friday (January 8, 2021) at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen St, Bristol. Due to the pandemic, there will be a limit of 60 people allowed into the Mass. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum, Bristol. A walk-through visitation will be held at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Thursday between 6 and 8 PM.
