Joan Norman, 46, of New Britain, beloved wife of Bryan Winters, died on Wednesday (August 22, 2018) in Terre Haute, IN after a brief illness. Joan was born in Bristol on May 16, 1972 and was a daughter of the late James O. Norman and Jeannette (Daniels) Cooper. She was raised and lived in Plainville for most of her life. She loved her cats and enjoyed traveling around the country in the cab of her husband's tractor trailer. In addition to her husband, she leaves a sister, Tamara Dial of Illinois; three nieces; and two nephews. She was predeceased by a sister: Heidi Good. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
