JanMarie (DellaBianca) Talbot, 71, of Bristol, beloved wife of Arnold Talbot, and widower of Howard Henderson, died unexpectedly on Sunday (May 14, 2023) at New Britain General Hospital.
JanMarie was born September 16, 1951 in Bristol and was the daughter of the late Paul DellaBianca, Sr. and Marion (Marco) DellaBianca Cassineri.
A lifelong Bristol resident, she graduated from Bristol High School and hairdressing school. She worked mostly as a nurse’s aide at local nursing homes before going to work as a shift monitor at the St. Vincent de Paul women’s shelter in Bristol. She was an avid fan of actor Eric Braeden, Englebert Humperdinck’s music, and the Boston Red Sox. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish attending St. Ann Church.
In addition to her husband of 19 years, JanMarie is survived by a daughter: Michelle Schuelke and husband, Milton of Southington; a brother: Paul DellaBianca, Jr. of Bristol; a granddaughter: Gianna Marie Mancini; step-children: Steve Talbot and wife, Becky of Bristol, Carol Bowers and husband, Pat of Ivoryton, Edith Talbot of Winsted, and Reno Talbot of Burlington; six step-grandchildren: Ethan, Isaac, Sam, Grace Talbot, Molly, and Sophie Bowers; step-great-grandchildren: Theodore and Amelia; brother-in-law: Roger Talbot and wife, Louise of Massachusetts; sister-in-law: Lucille Rodrigue and husband, Henri of Canada; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (May 19, 2023) at 9 AM from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home on Thursday between 4 and 7 PM.
