Irene F. Langevin

Irene F. (Kuharski) Langevin, 92, of Bristol, wife of the late Wilfred J. Langevin, passed away on Sunday November 7, 2021 at The Pines-Bristol. She was born in Bristol on May 4, 1929 to the late Anthony and Honorata (Spiek) Kuharski. She retired after 20 plus years from General Electric. Irene was a longtime member of St. Stanislaus Church. She enjoyed traveling the United States and Europe with her late husband. Irene also enjoyed the casino, doing crafts and puzzles. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Paul and Kathy Langevin of Bristol; two daughters and sons-in-law Eileen and John Hackling of Bristol and Joan and Frank Tedesco of Terryville; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St, Bristol on Thursday, November 11th at 10:30 AM to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following at the Holy Family Mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Thursday between 10 and 10:30 AM. Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is honored to serve Irene’s family.
