Ilse Wishneski

November 14, 1943 ~ November 16, 2022 (age 79) 79 Years Old

Tribute

Ilse (Knoll) Wishneski, 79, of Wolcott, wife of William “Bill” Wishneski, passed away after a courageous fight with cancer on November 16, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Ilse was born in Austria on November 14, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Sophie Knoll Skrepnek and step-daughter to the late George Skrepnek. She came to the United States in 1954 and after graduating high school she went to work at Aetna as a Systems Analyst where she retired from. She loved to spend summers in Colorado with her husband Bill which included hiking, biking, four wheeling, and river rafting. She loved her blended family, traveling, painting, doing craft shows, baking and have all of us try her new recipes, (she would say you don’t have to eat it if it’s awful) game night playing dominos, and the garden club she belonged to. She was a kind soul, loved her family and friends more than anything. She adored her husband Bill more than words can describe and she will always be his Valentine. Ilse was proud of her granddaughter Jenna the light of her eye getting into college and making the softball team. She was proud of her kind grandson Philippe being adventurous and his photography. She loved to visit and watch her other four grandkids grow up and was very proud of them. In addition to her husband Bill she is survived by her sons who she was so proud of; David Boudreau of Wolcott and Richard (Laure) Boudreau of Enfield; Stepchildren: Todd (Karen) Wishneski and Tracy Thielman both of North Carolina; grandchildren Jenna, Philippe, Colin, Carter, Tristen and Haley. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Knoll. She will be missed for so many wonderful reasons. Fly high our sweet angel we all love you.
