Helen M. (Kaczka) Raymond, 91, of Bristol, widow of John W. Raymond, died on Tuesday (July 27, 2021) at Ingraham Manor. Helen was born on March 28, 1930 in Bristol and was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Swieton) Kaczka.
A lifelong Bristol resident, she graduated from St. Stanislaus School and Bristol High School and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. She loved her animals, loved to bake, was known for her homemade cookies, and had an extensive cookbook collection.
Helen is survived by two daughters: Kathy Raymond of Bristol and Marilyn Sherlock of Florida; two grandchildren: Daniel and Melissa; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including her goddaughter, Eileen Szalkiewicz. She was predeceased by her siblings: Theodore, Edward, Leo, Henry Kaczka, and Theresa Adamczyk.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (July 31, 2021) at 9 AM from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, to St. Stanislaus Church, 510 West St., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Friday between 5 and 7 PM.
