Harold A. Bissonette

Harold a Bissonette, Sr. 90, of Bristol Ct. passed away on December 19, 2018 at his home. He was born in New Britain Ct. on January 18, 1928. He was raised and spent most of his life in Plainville Ct. although he moved to Bristol in the early 70's his heart was in Plainville and that's where he spent most of his time. He was associated with Interstate Renovating for over 35 years before he took the business over. He was a well known mason and steeplejack, he was handy and could do about anything. He had a great sense of humor and a love for cars, especially his Buick. He loved  playing cards and telling jokes.
He is survived by his step son Lawrence Belisle of Barefoot Bay Florida, a son Harold "Buzz" Bissonette and his wife Lana of Vero Beach Florida, daughter Nancy Demartin and her husband John of Plainville Ct., a daughter Kathy Oakes and her husband Paul of Plainville, Ct.,  a step daughter Janet Nigro and her husband Andy of Bristol, Ct. also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Bissonette a daughter Carol Bissonette and a step daughter Joan Thibodeau. Arrangements are under the direction of Funk Funeral Home Bristol Ct. There are no calling hours and burial will be at the family's convenience.
