Ghislaine Perreault

Ghislaine (Dumas) Perreault, 73, wife of the late Simon Perreault, died on Saturday (June 15, 2019). Born in Canada to the late Paul and Estelle Dumas on July 9, 1945, she resided primarily in Bristol before retiring to South Carolina. Ghislaine was very family oriented, was known for her bubbly personality and sharp sense of humor. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and loved to play Charlemagne. She was a people person that enjoyed her job greeting people at Wal-Mart both in Bristol and in South Carolina.
Ghislaine is survived by three daughters: Carol Fusco and her husband Dan of South Carolina, Annette Baker and her husband Paul of Cicero, NY and Christine Voisine and her husband Curt of Terryville, CT; four sisters: Paula Martin, Yvette Desjardins, Nannette Levasseur, and Diane Dumas; six grandchildren: Denise Stevenson and her husband Matt, Daniel Fusco Jr. and his wife Sara, Carlie Fusco, Zachary Voisine, and Ashlyn and Madalyn Baker; three great grandchildren: Taylor, Samantha and Skyler Stevenson; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to Ghislaine’s beloved husband Simon, she is predeceased by one brother: Denis Dumas.
A prayer service will take place on Wednesday (June 19, 2019) at 11:00 AM at Funk Funeral Home; 35 Bellevue Avenue, Bristol, CT. Entombment will follow at the Holy Family Mausoleum at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Avenue, Bristol. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday prior to the prayer service from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM.
