Frederick P. Schwedler Jr.

Frederick P. Schwedler, Jr., 80, of Bristol, CT, lost his battle with cancer on Thursday (June 16, 2022). 
Fred was born on March 7, 1942 in Cleveland, OH where he spent his early years in the Bay Village suburb. He eventually settled and raised his family in Fair Oaks, CA before retiring and moving to Connecticut eleven years ago.
He was a Vietnam veteran serving as an Airman First Class in the United States Air Force from 1963-1969. He graduated from Sacramento State University with honors and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance. He had a successful career as a general contractor.
Fred is survived by three children: Jody Soria of El Dorado Hills, CA, David Schwedler of Fair Oaks, CA, and Darren Schwedler, Sr. of Bristol, CT; a sister: Audrey Congeni of Rocky River, OH; five grandchildren: Amanda Schwedler, Sarah Schwedler, Brittney Schwedler, Nickolas Biaggi, and Darren Schwedler, Jr.; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held later in California.
