Erika R. Krpata

Erika R. Krpata, 78, of Southington, wife of David Krpata, died peacefully on Monday January 11, 2021 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut- New Britain General Campus. Erika was born August 15, 1942 in Germany to the late Adam and Olga (Ritz) Repke. She immigrated to the United States with her mother and sister in 1951. Erika then became a citizen ten years later. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons William (Michelle) Bayer of Pennsylvania and Mark (Linda) Bayer of Bristol, one daughter Suzanne Morelli of New London, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; her sister Ida (Albert) May of Bristol. In addition Erika is survived by her two stepdaughters Shelly (Jeffrey) Barrett of Bristol, Amy (David) Nye of Arizona, also five step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funk Funeral Home, Bristol, CT is honored to serve the family and all services are private.
