Domingo Basora

Domingo Basora, 88, of Bristol, died on Tuesday (November 22, 2022) at Bristol Hospital.
Domingo was born on the Dominican Republic on December 20, 1933 and was a son of the late Bartolo and Julia Basora.
He was a longtime resident of the Bronx, NY coming to Bristol three years ago. He was a great dad who loved his family.
He is survived by nine children: Maria Perez, Nuris Paulino, Juan I. Basora, Johanna Basora, Dewilka Zarzuela, Domingo A. Basora, Doris Basora. Ramón Basora, and Alexis Basora; siblings: Cita Basora and Felipa Basora; grandchildren: Aracelis Porter, Jose G. Pere, Jesus Paulino, Johnathan Lantigua, Michael Lantigua, Anaís Paulino, Estalin Perez, Karen Basora, Viví Zarzuela, Juriel Zarzuela, Xavier Lugo, Anyara Basora, Alexis Ezequiel Basora, Nashaly Basora, Natalie Basora, Nashly Basora, Jefferson Collado, and John Collado: great-grandchildren: Ciara Porter, Aaliyah Porter, Christopher Lantigua, Emely Lantigua, Melany Lantigua, Justin Lantigua, Yeskair Lantigua, Jeremiah Lantigua, and Camila Perez.
Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Saturday (November 26, 2022) between 9:30 and 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebration at St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen St., Bristol at 11 AM.
