Diane M. Sinnott

Diane (Plant) Sinnott of Naples, Fl and Cape Cod, Massachusetts died on January 15,2017 at VITAS Hospice in Naples after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Diane was the wife of Jon Sinnott. Diane was born in North Tonawanda, New York on January 23, 1951 and was the daughter of Georgeann Plant and the late Harry Plant Sr. Diane worked for The Hartford for many years where her leadership and mentoring skills resulted in significant operational and financial initiatives. Diane’s creativity, warmth, and talents were evident in everything she touched whether at work or in her many design activities. Her greatest joys were exploring Cape Cod and her weekly golfing excursions with her Cape Cod friends Diane touched many people during her life and we all are better for having known her. Diane and Jon gratefully acknowledge the special Angels who cared for Diane with much love, compassion, and dignity at Harbor Chase Memory Care and VITAS Hospice as well as our family and friends especially Jim, Debra, Tom, Arlene, Fred, Leslie, Sally, Kathi, Gwen, Becky and Eve …their love, support and friendship to Diane and Jon were invaluable during Diane’s illness. Besides her husband Jon, Diane leaves nieces Kimberly Loughery and Kate Sinnott as well as nephew Joseph Sinnott, Jonathan Delay and Joseph Plant as well as her sister in law Pamela Loughery and husband Jim and brother in law Martin Sinnott and wife Lorraine. Diane was predeceased by her brother Harry Plant Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (September 23, 2017) at 10:00 AM at St Ann Church, 215 West Street, Bristol Connecticut.
