I went to Bristol Central High School with Cecil many years ago. He always had a smile for everyone he encountered. I was shocked to read of his passing on. Always enjoyed camping in NY State with his brothers also. My best to his family.

My Mary worked with Cecil for over 20 years at Food Mart in Bristol. She continued their friendship for many years after that, Going to lunch phone calls. But what I remember most was how Cecil and his wife were there for my family after a house fire, passing of my brother Glen and my father Ray.. That's the Love of Christ that shined thru Cecil's heart and soul. Rest in the presence of our Lord the King for eternity.. Love,Mary and Michele Fontaine

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I had the pleasure to work with Cecil for years. I worked as the floral manager with him in many of the stores with A&P Food Mart .Cecil was the nicest man. Always so helpful and kind. His laughter i will always remember. I read he loved early morning sunrise"s which are so beautiful and bright as his spirit shines forever over the morning ocean sunrises. Peace be with you always.Love Charlene VanNess & Family.

Cecil was always sweet, funny and such a caring person. I met him when I was around 16 years old. I would babysit for the family on occasion. We became fast friends. He was only 3 years younger then I was but he had younger brothers and sisters. It was a blessing to have him as a friend. He always said he would marry me someday and we would both laugh after all he was to young for me. I love you Cecil Shone, you and your whole family. Rest dear friend. Be at peace with your mom and dad and your brothers. Love Debbie

Saddened to hear of Cecil's passing, thoughts and prayers with the entire family. My wife & I had the pleasure of working with Cecil at Foodmart in West Hartford for many years. I worked along side him in the produce department and it was always a pleasure. He always had a smile and was upbeat and jovial. I appreciated Cecil's wit and sense of humor and he was always there to help anyone in need. May you be consoled to know that he is now at peace.

We were so sad to hear about Cecil's passing but be assured he is at eternal rest with his Lord and Savior. We spent many years working and playing with him at Trinity Church. He always had a smile and a kind word. We were blessed to be able to have him in our lives.
