Blanche M. Poinatale

Blanche M. (Paul) Poinatale, 69, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Friday (March 27, 2020) at Bristol Hospital. Blanche was born in Bristol on March 28, 1950 and was a daughter of the late Norman and Germaine (Ouellette) Paul. A lifelong Bristol resident, she attended Bristol Central High School and was a parishioner of St. Ann Church. She worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for several years. She enjoyed going to mass, making people laugh, knitting and playing cards. She loved arranging flowers and plants and was known to have a green thumb. She cared deeply for her family and friends. Blanche is survived by her three children: Gina Joiner and her husband Darien of Plantsville, Bryan Poinatale and his wife Heather of Farmington, Christina DiBiccari and her husband Neil of Avon; her two brothers: David and Ronald Paul; her three sisters: Beatrice Paul, Lorraine Paul, Yvonne Kucharski; her six grandchildren: Myah and Ava Joiner, Harper and Finley Poinatale, Brynn and Bennett DiBiccari; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Blanche was predeceased by her son: David Poinatale; and her two brothers: Eugene and Robert Paul. The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who had visited Blanche over the last three months. It meant the world to her and made her so happy.
