Bernice (Kuznicki) Wyszynski, 81, of Pequabuck and widow of Casmier Wyszynski, died Saturday November 15, 2003 at Nursing Care Center of Bristol. Mrs. Wysznski was born in Bronson, MI on December 5, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Felix and Sophia (Kragul) Kuznicki. She resided in Pequabuck all her life and was employed at the Bristol Hospital before retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Casimir Church, Terryville. Mrs. Wyszynski is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Vincent Wyszynski of Pequabuck and Daniel and Dee Wyszynski of Spring Hill, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Judith M. and George Masterson of Pequabuck; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert and James. Mrs. Wyszynski became known as the "Banana Lady" after she bought a new 1965 Pontiac Tempest from Stephen Pontiac Cadillac, Bristol for 1395 bananas. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 18, 2003, 9 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Casimir Church, Terryville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Terryville.
