Barbara Ferro

Barbara Ferro, 92, of Bristol, died on Wednesday (December 30, 2020) at Ingraham Manor. Barbara was born in Bristol on March 17, 1928 and was a daughter of the late Joseph Ferro, Sr. and Caterina (Briatico) Ferro.
A New York Yankee fan, she enjoyed watching sports both in person and on TV and also enjoyed working out in the yard.
A lifelong Bristol resident, she worked at Cigna Insurance until retiring and was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish attending St. Anthony Church. Barbara is survived by two sisters: Frances and Concetta Ferro of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Ferro, Jr. and a sister Anna Madore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (January 4, 2021) at 10 AM at St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Monday at 9 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Parish, 180 Laurel St., Bristol, CT 06010.
