Armand V. Daoust, Jr., 78, of Bristol, passed away on June 23, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband to the late Constance (Markie) Daoust and also to the late Doris (Mailloux) Daoust. Armand was born in Lewiston, ME on January 18, 1943 to the late Armand V. and Annoncia (Lavertu) Daoust, Sr. He grew up in Maine until moving to Waterbury in 1950 where he graduated from Croft High School. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy serving on the USS Yosemite during the Vietnam War from 1963 to 1965. He owned and operated Security Alarm Consultants, towards the end of his work career he worked security for Caldors and Walmart. Armand was a 40 year member of D.A.V. Chapter 5 serving as treasurer, 25 year member of Men’s Retreat League and a parishioner of St. Matthew Church since 1972. He is survived by his “Adopted Brother” Gerard Roy of Lewiston, ME, special friend Melissa Salva of Bristol and Goddaughter Sarayha. The visiting hour will be Tuesday morning, June 29th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, who has the honor of serving Armand’s family. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave, Bristol at 11 AM. Interment with full Military Honors to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
