Antonietta Ruscitti

December 13, 1975 ~ February 8, 2021 (age 45) 45 Years Old

Tribute

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce Antonietta “Ann” Ruscitti, 45, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021.
Ann was born on December 13, 1975 in Bristol daughter of Maria (Martino) Ruscitti of Bristol and Salvatore & Cathy Ruscitti of Terryville.
Raised in Bristol, Ann graduated from Bristol Central High School in 1994.  She went to Briarwood College and later Bridgeport University where she received her BS in Dental Hygiene, graduating in 1999.  She worked 16 wonderful years as a Dental Hygienist at Dr. Merkouriou’s office in Hartford.  She also recently started working for Dr. Hemphill at West Hill Family Dental in Rocky Hill.  She also worked at Bristol Dental Dr. Butler for 17 years.  Ann was a hard worker and the best hygienist around.  Her colleagues were an important and special part of her life.
Ann was a beautiful person that touched the lives of so many people. Her vibrant smile would light up the room.  Family and friends were everything to her.  She had a love for animals especially her cats…Abby, Oliver and Chloe. To say she will be greatly missed would be an understatement.
Ann leaves behind many loving family members and friends: her parents, her loving sister and best friend Alessandra “Sandra” Ruscitti Gleifert of Bristol and her fiancé Bill Dauphinee; step-brother: Jason Gilbert and his wife, Ananda of California; she was a loving Auntie to nephews: Tyler and Evan Gleifert of Bristol and Anthony and Lorenzo Gilbert of California; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins and countless loyal friends too numerous to count.   She was predeceased by her step-sister Shannon Gilbert and grandparents:  Pasquale & Antonietta Martino and Rocco & Alessandra Ruscitti.
Due to current conditions, the family will hold a private visitation.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol will be celebrated privately followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
