Anna Perrino

Anna (Mieczkowski) Perrino, 70, of Plainville, widow of John A. Perrino, died on Sunday (September 17, 2016) at Bristol Hospital. Anna was born in New Britain on November 14, 1946 and was a daughter of the late Peter and Stella (Kulis) Mieczkowski. She was raised in New Britain and graduated from New Britain High School. She then went on to receive her Bachelors in Science degree in Nursing from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. A Plainville resident for the past 40 years, she worked as an ICU nurse at Bristol Hospital for 35 years before retiring. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew Church. Anna is survived by a sister and brother-in-law: Barbara and Marvin Bianchi of Bristol, and several cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (September 21, 2017) at 10 AM at St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Thursday between 8:30 and 9:30 AM.
