Ann L. (Robertson) Winters, beloved wife of Norman A. Winters for 69 years, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2023. Ann was born on April 10, 1933, in Bristol to the late Violet (Oberg) and Archie Robertson. Although she was a longtime resident of Bristol, she loved her travels to Colorado, Michigan, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Virginia, and especially England during Norman’s Air Force career. Ann was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she enjoyed volunteering on various committees for many years. 

Ann is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Robin (Ricker) Winters of Valrico, FL, and Bruce and Virginia (Van Kirk) Winters of Burlington; grandchildren Jillian Winters, Ryan Winters, Matthew Winters and Scott Winters; great-grandchildren Adam, Jackson and Alexander Bilbao, and Hunter Winters; sister-in-law, Nancy Denehy; niece, Holly Fitz, and nephews, Joseph Ravita, and Greg and Todd Rawson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her children, Scott, Paul, and Susan Winters, and her sister, Fay Rawson. 

The family would like to thank the Bristol Hospital staff of the G-floor as well as the staff of Ingraham Manor for the exceptional care Ann received during her stays, as well as her dedicated caregiver at home, Sharon McClellan. 

Per Ann’s wishes, funeral services will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 154 Meadow St., Bristol, CT 06010, or to the Orphan Grain Train, c/o Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 8 Maple St., Terryville, CT 06786.
