Anita C. (Dutil) Beaulieu, 84, of Wolcott, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, from Leukemia.
Anita was married to John J. Beaulieu Jr. for 64 years. Anita was born on July 29, 1933, in Fairfield, Maine, daughter to the late George A. Dutil Sr. and Alexina A. (Cabana) Dutil of Fairfield, Maine.
Anita was a member of Wolcott Christian Life Center and enjoyed fellowship with all the people who attended there. She co-hosted the program 12 steps for Christians on Sky cable. She was involved with music ministry. She enjoyed composing and singing. She loved her family and spending time with them. She loved playing cards. Anita loved the UConn Huskies and the New England Patriots.
Besides her loving husband Anita leaves behind a son, John J. Beaulieu III and his wife, Ann, of Torrington; a sister, Lucille Vickery, of Ohio; a son-in-law, Lewis Hobbs, of Wolcott; her grandchildren, Allison Piet (Eric), Rena Hobbs, Stefanie Reidy (Ali), Lindsay Nadeau (Cindy Hager), Lewis Hobbs II, Matthew Fletcher, Shawn Fletcher (Danielle), David Bush(Sara), Kenneth Bush (Amanda), Gregory Bush (Katey) and Ross Bowman (Akum); her great-grandchildren, Ronan and Deegan Piet, Rylee Fletcher, Hunter, Scott, Alex, Kylie, Charlie and Elise Bush; her nephews, Bruce Breton, George III “Skip,” Larry and Bobby Dutil; Wilbur and Vernard Vickery; her nieces, Marcella Laliberte, Sherri Wells, Brenda Matava, Cindy Tracy, Dee Dee Campbell, Karen Colgan, Theresa and Michelle Vickery, and Danielle Phillips; and all their children and grandchildren.
Anita was predeceased by her daughters, Joleen Fletcher and Jodi Hobbs; her brothers, George Dutil Jr. (Delia), and Robert Dutil (Patricia); her sisters, Leona Breton (Reginald), Juliette Marquis (Medard) and Carmen Vickery (Lynn); and her brother-in-law, Wilbur Vickery Sr.
