Allan C. Day

Allan C. Day, 44, of Bristol, lost his battle with addiction on April 13, 2021. He leaves behind the two apples of his eye, his daughters Summer and Emily, ages 5 and 1, respectively. Also left to mourn are Allan's parents, Carla Giguere of Bristol and Allan Day of Georgia, his younger brother, Matthew B. Day (Kristine), his nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Allan was a dynamic individual who was talented, smart, humorous, peaceful, and philosophical. He had battled an opioid addiction for many years but always managed to get back up and maintain long periods of sobriety. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his addiction, and he leaves a loving family, with broken hearts, to mourn his passing. No one is the sum of his worst parts. Allan was so much more than the addiction that ultimately took his life. We will hold him in our hearts forever and cherish the memories he gave us. A Celebration of Allan’s Life will take place on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 11 – 1 PM at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, who has the honor of serving Allan’s family (Mask and social distancing are required).
