Alice J. Caron

Alice J Caron, 68, of Terryville, wife of Jean Caron passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones due to her medical condition. Alice was born in New Britain, CT on February 9, 1954, and is the daughter of the late Joseph and Jeannette (Parent) Chabre. She lived in Bristol until 1975 when she moved with her husband to Terryville, CT where she remained a resident.  Alice was a member of St Ann’s church in Bristol. She was a volunteer for the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative (CTBHI). Besides her husband Jean, Alice is survived by her son Robert Caron and his wife Melissa Caron of Bristol, her daughter Alice M Caron of Terryville, her 5 grandchildren, Andrew Caron and his finance Lucy Munger of Plainville, Mayghan Caron and her boyfriend Jeremy Woron of Vernon, Lincoln Caron, Layton Caron and Londen Caron of Bristol, as well as her two great-grandchildren Jeremy Jr Woron and Melanie Caron.  Alice leaves behind three sisters, Anne Letalien and Cecile Chabre of Bristol, Joyce Chabre of Plainville and two brothers, Leo Chabre of New Hampshire and Shorty Chabre of Torrington. Alice leaves behind many brothers and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins here in the States and in Canada. Alice was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Jeannette Chabre and her two brothers, Paul and Richard Chabre.
The visiting hours will be Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Avenue, Bristol has the honor of serving Alice’s family. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Ann Church, The Parish of St. Francis de Sales Parish at 215 West Street, Bristol on Saturday morning, August 6, 2022 at 10 AM to attend a Mass of Christian Burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bristol.
