Teresita S. Asido, 81, of Bristol, beloved wife of Nardito Asido, died on Friday (January 15, 2021) at Bristol Hospital. Teresita was born on May 11, 1939 in the Philippines and was a daughter of the late Diosdado and Angeles (Sucgang) Soncuya.
She was raised and lived in the Philippines until moving to Bristol in the mid 1970’s.
She worked for Webster Bank and attended St. Matthew Church, Bristol.
She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she leaves three children: Norvin Asido and wife, Tina of Southington, Myra Chaivanik and husband, Scott of Bristol, and Annaliza Graham and husband, Judah of North Carolina; a sister: Melda Pasana of New York; six grandchildren: Ryan and Kaitlyn Asido, Tyler and Cole Chaivanik, and Jett and Jagger Graham; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Nelson Asido, a granddaughter, Savannah Asido, brothers, Julio and Florencio Soncuya, and a sister, Adoracion Soncuya Santiago.
