Rita Levesque

Rita (Cote) Levesque, 90, of Southington formerly of Bristol, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at The Southington Care Center. She was the widow of Roland L. Levesque. The two were married 60 years and in that time shared countless memories and raised a wonderful family that always loved and laughed to the fullest.

Rita is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Roland (Ronnie) and Pauline Levesque of Myrtle Beach; three daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and Bruce LeBeau of Plantsville, Linda and Frank Machado of Pomfret and Sandie and Steven Plourde of Bristol; one brother, James Cote of Burlington; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Rita will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who made everyone laugh with her stories and antics. She has definitely left a lasting impression on everyone she met and had a zest for life. She had no fears, had the softest embrace, and would do anything for anyone she knew. The world lost a truly special woman who will never be forgotten.
