Hey Sis - It's Saturday May 9th and you dominated my thoughts more than usual this morning. I do my best thinking when I run, and you knew that. Well, all I could think about on my morning run today was you and everything you meant to me. Standing in my shadow and I standing in yours. You were more than a sister, you were my friend. You were the only one in this isolated and lonely world who could truly relate to what shaped us as we became adults. You wouldn't believe what we're all going through right now but boy, "How I Wish You Were Here". Love, David

Wish You Were Here

By, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd)

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell
Blue skies from pain?
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a leading role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears
Wish you were here

Good Morning Sis!
It's hard to believe that two years ago today I would be the one you selected to help you pass to heaven as I held your hand and you took your last living breath. I remember it as if it were yesterday. I will be forever grateful that God permitted me to have you in my life for 50 years. Altough you would take your last living breath on September 25, 2017, we still feel your after-life daily. It happens in the simple things we hear and say and in the simple things we do and see. Thank you for that wonderful gift of always being there, still there. You would be so proud of your growing family. You raised two very thoughtful, loving and giving children in Ashley and Mitch. And don't you just love that Harper Rose? You were a mom, now a grandmother, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a daughter and a good friend to many. To all of us who crossed your path, we will forever be touched by your beauty, your grace, your determination and your fight. Rest in God's peace Tracy Lee!

Happy 52nd Birthday my sweet sister!

You would be so proud of your children. They both cherish you and the memories you made with each of them. They miss you terribly and we talk of you often. We'll have a new addition to your family soon and, have no doubt, she will be raised by those memories. Miss you terribly!

“I Never Saw Your Wings”
A Year Later, Remembering September 25, 2017

Tracy,

How is it that I never saw your wings
when you were here with me?

When you closed your eyes and soared
to the Heavens I could hear the
faint flutter of your wings as you took flight.

Your body no longer on this side,
your spirit here eternally, I see your halo shine.

My sister, my angel, God has given you your assignment,
always my sister, forever my angel.

I can no longer hold you in my arms
but you are always in my heart.

You earned those wings dear sister,
we will never be apart.

Your Brother,
David

For my sister .... how appropriate it be raining today.

Purple Rain
By Prince and the The Revolution

I never meant to cause you any sorrow
I never meant to cause you any pain
I only wanted to one time to see you laughing
I only wanted to see you
Laughing in the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
I only wanted to see you
Bathing in the purple rain
I never wanted to be your weekend lover
I only wanted to be some kind of friend
Baby, I could never steal you from another
It's such a shame our friendship had to end
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
I only wanted to see you
Underneath the purple rain
Honey, I know, I know
I know times are changing
It's time we all reach out
For something new, that means you too
You say you want a leader
But you can't seem to make up your mind
I think you better close it
And let me guide you to the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
If you know what I'm singing about up here
C'mon, raise your hand
Purple rain, purple rain
I only want to see you
Only want to see you
In the purple rain

My deepest sympathy for your great loss. Deep pain and sorrow fills your hearts at this time. May you find comfort and strength in the Almighty God words at Psalms 34:18 "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit "  It saddened him when we shed tears of sorrow. Through his Word he gives us comfort and hope for those who have fallen asleep in death. As Jesus words promised at John 5:28,29 the resurrection of all those in the Memorial tombs.

I have never met another person in my life with as much courage and strength as Tracy. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. I have been blessed knowing and working with her for many years. She never, not once, ever complained, she was ALWAYS POSITIVE and STRONG. She will forever be in my thoughts and prayers along with Ashley, Mitch and her entire family and her very special , amazing friend Amy that stuck by her like glue.
" that's what friends are for"
Tracy touched my life and will be forever be in my heart!!
God bless you!!!

Beauty,Strength and Tanasity , that's what I think of when I think of Tracy. Her smile lit up a room. I so sad for all friends and relatives. I believe the words to this song may comfort you. When you walk through a storm hold your head up high and don't be afraid of the storm at the end of the day is a golden sky and a sweet simple song of a lark walk xon walk on and don't be afraid because you never walk alone., Tracy has come to the end of her storm and now she will follow. The Angelsto the Golden sky. My heart break s for all of you. Love, Martha Kokiel,
