Rita A. Halle

Rita Ann (Kaczypenski) Halle, 80, of Bristol, beloved widow of Martin Halle Sr., passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Rita was born in Waterbury on July 30, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Marcheski) Kaczypenski. Rita was a head secretary for Memorial Boulevard School retiring in 2006. In her spare time, Rita loved to be with her family and her beloved Yorkie, Daisy. They spent everyday watching the Hallmark Channel and old western shows.

She will be deeply missed by her family. Rita is survived by her children; Jeff Utke of Sanford, FL and Kimberly Utke of Bristol. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Karin Massa, Kayla and McKenna Damiano as well as Cody and Wylie Utke and her adored furry companion Daisy.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Holy Family Mausoleum in Bristol where her ashes will be entombed next to her husband Marty. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
